Puja

In humble reverence, I start to speak
and find my words flow soft and sweet
while tears begin, mine eyes to fill
sweet drops of love and gratitude
while deep inside this heart of mine
a flame eternal, lights and shines
to fill this world and every corner
with love sublime, with Love Divine

And still I speak, in silence standing
not knowing how my words do fall
but words do come in sweet surrender
with fruit and flowers I offer all
with fruit and flowers my head doth bow

On folded knees, no longer standing
falling deep within His Love
and guided by effulgence beaming
within my heart His Love parades
upon this altar God hath made
where simple gestures rest - complete
and lay these petals at His Feet
and lay these petals at His Feet.
