A Firm Foundation


Without a Firm Foundation
our lives would cease to be
as stable as Gibraltar
from the Heavens to the Sea

We need a Firm Foundation
on which to build our dreams
or our house will topple over
splitting at the seams

The Structure of our Families
will never fall apart
If we build a Firm Foundation
created from our hearts

If We build a Firm Foundation
and make sure it's very strong
It won't matter what the task is
we seldom will go wrong

But even if we stumble
sometimes along the way
We will pick ourselves
back up again
and proudly smile & say

I'm glad I have a second chance
this time I won't go wrong
You see I built a Firm Foundation
and It's Very! - Very! Strong.
