Angelwing's SMILES4U - The Great Wind by Sophie Morin Poetry Winner

The Great Wind

One sea line and already,
I smell the salt of another
(does it draw me?).
And now,
we are pushed again
toward extremes.

So great is the wind of the Canadian Prairies;
never had I seen...
We swing in the gusts,
I close my eyes,
But I love to stand
when the wind is warm
and lose myself to the openness.
If there is a higher control in my life,
I think it is the wind.
And it pushes me
from one life to another;
evading the rule of unhappiness.
