Friendship and Love

Friendship is reaching out to touch
Exchanging small secrets and such
Laughing when things go all wrong
Holding hands as we walk along
Sharing a knowing look or two
Agreeing in most things we do
Having a little spat just for fun
Kissing and making up when done
Sitting close, not saying a word
Letting anger pass by unheard,
Holding each other very tight
Praying together for things so right
Staying up all night for no reason
Making love bloom with teasin'
All these things and many more
Are the keys that open love's door
That make two hearts beat as one
And let sharing love be so much fun
