The Yellow Rose

Of all the roses in God's garden that I see

The yellow rose has the most meaning for me

Petals of golden velvet protect a core of tender love

Where sunshine lives forever, touched from above

Soft and romantic, sent from my soul to your heart

This rose is symbolic of a love we shared from the start

It is understanding, friendship everlasting, tears cried

Thoughts shared, true love found, walking side by side

All these things and more, I see when this rose is in my sight

But most of all it is sharing them with you that makes it so right.
