all i want is a clear blue sky
vast landscapes for my eyes
all i want is a deep blue sea
an endless depth of mystery
a flower bed behind my house
an ocean on my street
a tree inside my living room
from these places i could see

all i need is to see the sun
leaking in my window
all i need is to see sunsets
when the light reaches its low
a gray day at the beach
a castle in the sand
are all the things i need
to make me understand

all i want is a night of dreams
where i guide myself alone
all i want is a patch of grass
that i can call my home
a couple of stones
to toss into the sea
a pair of wings
to fly where i'm free
