Remember When

Remember when the days were long
and daisies sang enchanting songs.
Remember when you skinned your knee,
did your mother kiss it tenderly?
Remember when the weeds where tall
and monsters lurked in the midnight hall,
Remember when you cried in fright,
did your daddy hold you through the night?
Remember when you fell asleep,
did you pray the lord your soul to keep?
Remember when the morning came,
the darkness didn't seem the same.
Then remember this....
They remember too,
They are your children,
Gods gift to you.
